We are all going to be building Silverlight applications in the future. These applications will need to access information from databases. Silverlight applications are stateful – we need to track changes, deletions and additions to this data as it is held in local memory so we can update the underlying databases appropriately. The ADO.NET team is stepping up to the plate with a number of technologies to help in this area. This talk will examine some of these: Entity Framework, ADO.NET Data Services and the ADO.NET Data Services Library for Silverlight.
Chris Hewitt is a Senior Consultant at Readify. He specialises in SQL Server, SharePoint and ADO.NET 3.6
